Offshore Engineering

CorePD are experienced in developing solutions for the offshore industry, including designs for the oil and gas sectors as well as the growing wave energy sector.

We have developed designs for pipe handling equipment including lay towers, carousels, clamps, tensioners and other associated equipment.

A special aptitude in developing pin-jointed mechanisms has led to CorePD working on many projects developing handling arms and frames such as ROV handlers, PLET handlers, submarine launch systems and many other similar launch & recovery and manipulation devices.

Our experience in offshore technology, coupled with our product development skills and control systems & robotics knowledge  allows CorePD to tackle a wide range of projects with an in-depth understanding of the sector and operational experiences.

Since 2003 CorePD have been developing novel wave energy devices and lead a design team including Tuvnel, Universities and supported by the Carbon Trust.
